BTCD(British Turkish Committee for
Dialogue) has been founded in 2005 to create a platform for dialogue between
the Turkish community in the UK and the British society.
Our core members have diverse
professional and academic backgrounds.
We believe in a multicultural Britain, while
preserving our Turkish culture and enriching the British culture.
BTCD has no political or ideological
affiliation, and is dedicated to educate the British and Turkish people
about British-Turkish history, facts about Turkish minority in the
UK and its social life.
It tries to promote peace, toleration and
understanding in the British society. We believe that cultural richness can
be best achieved by mutual understanding and mutual respect, and it is
again a mutual responsibility of the communities to build such bridges.
